January 28th, 2004 at 8:30 amYeah, I really wonder what view the Colorado Conservative will have. Even the title of the publication announces basis.
I am glad that we caught Hussein. I am not glad that we have no exit plan. That we spent billions and billions of dollars to do this. I am not glad that 600 US soldiers died. That thousands of Iraqis died including women and children. I am not glad that although we have taken over the oil fields the gas prices continue to soar. I am not glad that my military friends and my own family members served in this war effort and missed out on watching their children grow from babies to toddlers to soon to preschoolers (it has been almost three years now). I am not glad that the government screwed up and forgot to pay the soldiers for their efforts. So was it worth it? People are still dying, the terrorism still continues, but the good ole USA got one evil man in a world full of evil by contributing more evil.
Is it just George? No way, but he really added to the war crimes committed by the USA.
I am not personally attacking you. I love your site and think that you are a great artist. I especially love your photography, but I just don’t argee with this one issue about war. -

Incidentally, the ease and disease of online political debate is the reason why I only linked to the argument instead of making a debate in my own words. I’d much rather do that in person, where body language plays a key role in understanding one another.
And thank you for separating politics from profession; doesn’t seem to happen that often these days.
